About The Archbishop and the First Lady
Archbishop Roberto and Lady Lurlene Brown, are childhood sweethearts, natives of Panama, that migrated to the United States in the winter of 1970, and have been married for over 50 years. The have been blessed to sit under the teaching of great men of God, The late Robert Humphrey, Bishop Hughey Rogers, and the late Archbishop McKinley.
It was the fall of 1992 in Tuscarora, PA that the Lord gave Pastor Roberto and his wife the vision to start Park Slope Christian Fellowship which was founded in October later that year. The scripture that the God gave the couple was John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
It was shortly thereafter the Lord gave the vision to the couple for Park Slope Christian Fellowship back in 1992 it was to:
Win - Souls to Christ
Consolidate - People into the church
Disciple-People in the word of God
Send – Send leaders out to sow seeds and bring forth fruit
Committed to the growth of the people of God
